Are my images uploaded when cropping?
No. Cropping is done entirely in your browser using the canvas API; the image never leaves your device.
Can I crop to a specific aspect ratio?
Yes. Lock the crop box to a preset ratio so the selection stays proportional for avatars, thumbnails or banners.
Does cropping reduce quality?
Cropping itself just removes pixels outside the selection. Exporting as JPEG/WebP may re-encode with some compression; PNG stays lossless.
