Which format should I choose?
WebP usually gives the smallest files at good quality for the web. JPEG is best for photos where WebP isn't supported. PNG is lossless and best for graphics with sharp edges or transparency.
Does converting to PNG reduce quality?
No — PNG is lossless. But converting a photo to PNG can make it larger than JPEG/WebP. The quality slider only affects JPEG and WebP.
Will transparency be preserved?
PNG and WebP preserve transparency; converting to JPEG fills transparent areas because JPEG has no alpha channel.
Are my images uploaded?
